
General Assembly
| The General Assembly is the supreme decision-making body of the CBCK and the ordinary body of common activity of the episcopal conference. The CBCK has both the Ordinary General Assembly and the Extraordinary General Assembly. The Ordinary General Assembly is held regularly two times a year in Spring and Autumn in accordance with the art. 8 of the Statutes of the CBCK. |
The roles of the General Assembly are as follows: |
| - To discuss and decide the matters concerning the common pastoral questions of the country that are adopted by the Permanent |
Council of the CBCK; |

- To make doctrinal declaration; - To discuss and decide the matters concerning petitions, responses and reports to the Apostolic See; - To elect the delegates of the CBCK to the Assembly of the Synod of Bishops or the other similar meetings; - To discuss and approve the annual budget and statement of accounts submitted by the Permanent Council of the CBCK; - To amend and repeal the Statutes of the CBCK with approval of the Apostolic See; - To elect the officials of the CBCK, the members of the Permanent Council, the Chairmen of the Episcopal Commissions and the Presidents of the National Committees and the Moderators of Institutes of the CBCK, and nominate the Secretary General of the CBCK; - To establish or abolish the Episcopal Commissions and the National Committees and Institutes, and to discuss their reports and proposals and make decisions; - To approve and guide the National Organizations for the Apostolate. |
