The Special Episcopal Commission to Promote Beatification and Canonization (Chairperson: Most Rev. Michael Park Jeong-il) published A Manual for the Promotion of the Beatification and Canonization as of June 15, 2011.
The manual with a volume of 472 pages is composed of 4 chapters and an appendix, which will be a guide for the future promotion of the beatification and canonization of Korean martyrs and confessors.
The Catholic Church in Korea is now waiting for the answer from the Apostolic See, after she presented acts for the cause of the beatification of the Servants of God, Paul Yun Ji-chung and 123 companions and the Servant of God, Father Thomas Choe Yang-eop to the Congregation for the Cause of Saints.
