In each vicariate of the Archdiocese of Daegu, a pilgrimage will be made to martyrs’ shrines to commemorate Korean martyrs and remember their acts: the Bokja Parish (1st vicariate), Shinnamugol (2nd vicariate), Gwandeokjeong Martyrdom Memorials (3rd vicariate), Hanti Martyrs’ Shrine, and Jinmokjeong (5th vicariate).

- The Diocese of Cheongju:
Priests and the religious made a pilgrimage on foot to martyrs’ historical sites, following the footprints of the Servant of God Thomas Choe Yang-eop, on September 2, 2008. The diocesan Lay Apostolate Council has a time to remember local martyrs in front of monuments commemorating martyrs within the Gwana Park of Chungju and the Jungang Park of Cheongju, on September 6, 2008.
