His Eminence Nicholas Cardinal Cheong Jinsuk, Archbishop of Seoul and Apostolic Administrator of Pyeong-yang, sent a congratulatory message to Ven. Jaseung, New Director of Administration of Jogye Order, the biggest Buddhist order in Korea on November 11, 2009.

In his message Cardinal Cheong said, "I hope that the new Director of Administration may reason with all our contemporaries, let alone the Buddhists, on the proper value of life. And I also hope that all believers on their respective spiritual way, especially Buddhists and Christians, can provide a better hope for our society and the humanity, working in close cooperation."

The inauguration ceremony of Ven. Jaseung took place at Jogyesa Temple in Seoul on November 5, 2009.
