Installation Ceremony of Bishop of Chunchon

The installation ceremony of the Most Rev. Lucas Kim Woon-hoe, Bishop of Chunchon and Apostolic Administrator of Hamhung, was held at Jungnim-dong Cathedral of Chunchon on March 25, 2010. Along with the Most Rev. Osvaldo Padilla, Apostolic Nuncio in Korea, H.E. Nicholas Chardinal Cheong Jinsuk, Archbishop of Seoul, Bishops and about 200 priests and 78,000 faithfuls of Chunchon participated in this ceremony.

In his address, Bishop Kim said, "I know how humble I am in front of God, so I was a sort of afraid when I heard that I was appointed as the Bishop of Chunchon. I am going to obey the will of the Almighty God, and to fulfill my responsibilities for the diocese and the faithfuls of Chunchon."
