Officially Launching 'Babo Nanum'

'Babo Nanum', the foundation of the nationwide fund-raising for the purpose of promoting the sharing spirit of the late Stephen Cardinal Kim Sou-hwan, was officially launched on April 7, 2010.

One of the permanent members for this foundation said that the finance will be openly managed to keep the noble spirit of late Cardinal Kim. It will support the needy and poor inside and outside of Korea regardless of religion, region, or class with voluntary donations from individuals, groups, or other businesses. Especially, it will take the initiative in giving a hand to foreign workers, multicultural families, or the marginalized.

H.E. Nicholas Cardinal Jeong Jinsuk, Archbishop of Seoul, said that we once again realized that sharing is not a choice but a duty through the late Cardinal Kim, spreading seeds of love and sharing as himself practicing love for all his life. He also said this foundation will take a role to make our society humane that late Cardinal Kim hoped.
