New Auxiliary Bishop of the Diocese of Pusan

     On June 4, 2010, Rev. Joseph Son Sam-seok was appointed as Auxiliary Bishop of Pusan.

     After his priestly ordination in 1982, the newly elected Bishop did pastoral care at parishes of Diocese of Pusan. He gave lectures at Pusan Catholic University after obtaining his doctoral degree in biblical theology from the Pontifical Urbaniana University. Bishop Son has taken responsibility as the dean of the faculty of theology at the Catholic University of Pusan after serving as a president from 2001 to 2006.
