Ordination Ceremony of Auxiliary Bishop of Pusan

The ordination ceremony of the Most Rev. Joseph Son Sam-seok, Auxiliuary Bishop of the Diocese of Pusan was held in Nam Chun Cathedral in Pusan on July 9, 2010.

There were 2,000 participants of the ordination ceremony including the Most Rev. Osvaldo Padilla, Apostolic Nuncio in Korea, Korean Bishops, priests, religious and lay persons.

The Most Rev. Paul Hwang Cheol-soo, Bishop of Pusan, said in his homily that the talent that Bishop Son received from God is Love. Bishop Hwang also said that Bishop Son would walk through the path of love with his own cross on his shoulder as Christ did.

Bishop Son thanked Bishop Hwang for his encouraging remarks and said that he would put his all efforts with the Diocesan Bishop for the development of the diocese and the Church in Korea.
