New Archbishop of Daegu

The Most Rev. Thaddeus Cho Hwan-kil, Auxiliary Bishop and Archdiocesan Administrator of Daegu was appointed as Archbishop of the same archdiocese on November 4, 2010.

As his predecessor, the Most Rev. John Choi Young-soo was passed away, the newly-elected Archbishop Cho has exercised his ministry as an Archdiocesan Administrator until now. The Archdiocese of Daegu is going to celebrate the 100th anniversary of its establishment ahead with the new pastor.

Archbishop Cho said at the press conference on November 5, 2010 that he would work putting confidence in God's blessing.

His installation ceremony is going to be held on December 20, 2010.
