Installation of Bishop of Uijeongbu

The installation Mass of the Most Rev. Peter Lee Ki-heon, Bishop of Uijeongbu, was celebrated at Uijeongbu Gymnasium on May 4, 2010 with H.E. Nicholas Cardinal Cheong Jinsuk, Archdiocese of Seoul, the Most Rev. Osvaldo Padilla, Apostolic Nuncio in Korea, the Most Rev. Peter Kang U-il, Bishop of Cheju, and other Bishops and priests, religious, and faithfuls of Uijeongbu. On behalf of the faithful of Uijeongbu, the Most Rev. Joseph Lee Han-taek, Bishop emeritus of Uijeongbu, welcomed Bishop Lee.

After the sign of peace during the Mass, Bishop Lee said that he would devote his life to the mission entrusted by God. He added that he would start his episcopal ministry as a new bishop.
