*Young Catechists for the History of the Church in Korea Newly Produced

Thirty-five young catechists to teach the history of the Catholic Church in Korea were newly produced in Archdiocese of Seoul. They are the first young catechists who are trained for this special purpose by completing necessary courses at the Academy for Forming Young Catechists for the History of the Church in Korea named 'Cheon-Ju-Hak-Dang'(School of God), a school jointly opened by the Youth Pastoral Division under Education Department and the Korean Martyrs Exaltation Committee of Archdiocese of Seoul. After receiving the certificates and diplomas on October 7 at Marist Teaching Center, they are expected to work actively at each parish.
The school also will form them as youth leaders, through the ongoing education programs such as varied cultural lectures, so that they will take the lead in creating and developing youth culture inside the Church.
